I don't own any of these but my mother has a friend who is a repair man for sears on the washer and dryers. He has said that any front load washer does better than a top load washer on how clean the clothes get and water saving ability, but the main problem he's running into are the washers and dryers that have a digital display instead of the manual knobs. He recomends the manual knobs over the digital due to increased electrical problems. That's what I would recommend and start researching based on your needs on capacity and options. Sears has good brands, like Kenmore, and now Sams Club is offering the front load washer set that is really reasonable.What are the best new washers and dryers(electric) - where, and how much?
Semens and Bosch. Don't buy a Kenmore or anything from Sears or Home Depot. Siemens and Bosch are sistering companies and I own a Siemens and it works great. The drum is at an angle and the fins are straight ahead so you clothes get a better wash. Report Abuse
