Does anyone remember the sudsmeiser on the washers?

I think that's what it was called. It was where the water from the rinse cycle was emptied into your utility tub instead of down the drain, and if it wasn't that dirty, you could use it again. You would think that in this day of reuse, recycle, we would see more of that coming back. Do these washers still exist?Does anyone remember the sudsmeiser on the washers?
I do remember them but as of yet they have not reappeared on the market. It was a good idea.Does anyone remember the sudsmeiser on the washers?
I might use the recycled H20 in the garden, but I certainly wouldn't make a soup with it.
If you really wanted to take advantage of the washer rinse water you could devise a way to catch that water and use it with a little ingenuity.If your laundry room has one of those deep sinks you could put the hose over there and let it catch the water etc.
